Black Sharknado is a bold, handcrafted Capsicum chinense variety featuring heavily textured, gnarly pods that ripen into a deep, dark blend of blackened purple, maroon, and red tones. The rugged, twisted shapes and almost charred appearance give this pepper a truly aggressive and unforgettable look.

This variety comes from a cross of Red Shark × Repo Mang, combining intense superhot genetics with a unique visual profile. Heat is estimated at approximately 800,000–1,000,000 Scoville Heat Units (SHU), delivering serious superhot intensity. The pods develop rich color transitions during ripening, often displaying multiple shades at once, making them stand out in any grow. This is a developing F5 selection and is not yet considered fully stable, so growers should expect some variation in pod shape, color, texture, heat level, and plant characteristics as the genetics continue to stabilize.
