Brazilian Cross is an unstable and exotic variety known for its striking appearance and unpredictable traits. This pepper produces uniquely shaped pods with a flared, bonnet-like appearance that may ripen to shades of red, orange, purple, or other color variations depending on the phenotype. Because this cross is not yet stable, growers should expect some variation in pod shape, size, color, heat level, and plant characteristics from one plant to another.

With a moderate to high heat level of 100,000 to 300,000 Scoville Heat Units (SHU), it delivers a sharp, spicy bite backed by a slightly fruity, smoky flavor that works beautifully in hot sauces, salsas, or fresh preparations. The plants are vigorous, ornamental, and highly productive, making them a standout in both garden beds and containers.
