The Chocolate Phantom Ghost is an exciting experimental cross between a Red Ghost Pepper (Bhut Jolokia) and what is believed to be a Chocolate T-Rex, combining the elongated shape and legendary heat of the Ghost with the heavily blistered, intimidating texture of the T-Rex lineage. As this is a developing hybrid, future generations may display slight variations in pod shape, color, and heat. The pods ripen to a rich crimson-red with deep wrinkles, aggressive folds, and a pronounced stinger that hints at their Chocolate T-Rex heritage. Expect an intense burn ranging from 800,000 to 1.2 million Scoville Heat Units, paired with a bold fruity flavor and subtle earthy, smoky undertones before the heat rapidly builds into a long-lasting blaze. Plants are vigorous, highly productive, and thrive in warm growing conditions, producing an abundance of uniquely shaped superhot pods throughout the season.
