Hallows Eve is a striking superhot pepper developed by Joker Chilli Farm from a cross between the legendary Bhut Jolokia (Ghost Pepper) and Pimenta de Neyde. This unique combination produces an exceptionally ornamental pepper with serious heat and a dramatic color transformation that makes it stand out in any pepper collection.

The elongated, Ghost-like pods begin in deep shades of purple to nearly black before transitioning through fiery orange tones and eventually ripening to a beautiful orange-peach color. Some pods retain darker purple or smoky highlights during the ripening process, creating an almost flame-like appearance. Individual pod shape and coloration can vary somewhat from plant to plant.

Hallows Eve is estimated at approximately 800,000–1,000,000 Scoville Heat Units (SHU), placing it firmly in superhot territory. Despite its intensity, the pepper offers a flavorful fruity character with deeper, slightly smoky and complex notes before the powerful heat takes over.

Plants are vigorous and highly ornamental, with the dark pigmentation inherited from the Pimenta de Neyde making them especially attractive as the colorful pods develop. Hallows Eve is an excellent choice for collectors and superhot growers and works particularly well for hot sauces, powders, flakes, and other applications where both strong flavor and extreme heat are desired.
