A well-loved Italian heirloom, Jimmy Nardello produces long, thin, wrinkled pods that ripen from green to a deep red. This is a sweet pepper with little to no heat, prized for its rich, almost fruity flavor that intensifies when cooked. It’s especially known for its excellent performance when fried or sautéed, where it develops a deep, slightly smoky sweetness. Plants are highly productive and easy to grow, often yielding large quantities of pods over the season.
