Kandam (VSRP Poblano) is a truly unique, handcrafted variety that immediately stands out with its striking variegated foliage—displaying a mix of green, cream, and purple throughout the plant. Paired with its elongated, slightly curved pods that ripen into warm orange tones with subtle marbling, this pepper brings both ornamental beauty and practical use to any grow.

This variety was developed from a variegated Sugar Rush x Poblano cross (Eric Knight line), combining the sweetness and productivity of Sugar Rush types with the classic shape and usability of a Poblano. The result is a visually stunning plant with a well-balanced flavor profile.

Kandam delivers a medium heat level with a mildly sweet, slightly earthy taste. It’s highly versatile—great for roasting, stuffing, fresh salsas, or adding depth to cooked dishes without overwhelming heat.
