Orange BBG (7 Pot Bubblegum Orange)

The Orange BBG, also known as the 7 Pot Bubblegum Orange, is a striking superhot pepper known for its unusual appearance, intense heat, and excellent fruity flavor. Pods ripen from green to a brilliant orange and develop the wrinkled, bumpy texture characteristic of the Bubblegum family. One of its most distinctive traits is the famous “bleeding” calyx, where the orange coloration can spread upward from the pod into the calyx and stem, creating an impressive appearance.

With heat ranging from approximately 800,000–1,000,000 Scoville Heat Units (SHU), the Orange BBG delivers serious superhot intensity. Beneath that heat is a fruity, slightly sweet and citrus-forward flavor that makes it an excellent choice for hot sauces, pepper powders, flakes, salsas, and other extremely spicy creations.
