The Orange Reaper Sbagliato is an impressive superhot variety originating from a Carolina Reaper × Pimenta Puma cross. This orange selection produces large, heavily wrinkled and rugged pods with dramatic shapes and occasional Reaper-style tails. As the peppers mature, they ripen to a brilliant orange while often developing striking dark purple to nearly black blushing and striping, creating an incredible contrast that makes this variety just as ornamental as it is dangerously hot.

Heat is extreme, ranging from approximately 1.5–2+ million Scoville Heat Units (SHU). The thick, bumpy pods can contain substantial placenta and capsaicin oils, delivering an aggressive, long-lasting burn. Behind the intense heat is a fruity, slightly sweet flavor that works especially well for extreme hot sauces, powders, flakes, and other superhot creations.

Plants tend to grow tall and vigorous with darker foliage influenced by their Pimenta Puma heritage and can produce an excellent crop of large pods.
