The Red 7 Pot Douglah is a striking superhot variety developed by crossing the original 7 Pot Douglah with the Red Trinidad Moruga Scorpion, resulting in a pepper that combines exceptional heat with a noticeably fruitier flavor profile. Its heavily wrinkled, bright red pods mature to a rounded, slightly elongated shape and typically reach 850,000 to 1,000,000 Scoville Heat Units (SHU). Unlike the original chocolate-colored Douglah, the Red 7 Pot Douglah offers a sweeter, tropical flavor with subtle citrus notes before unleashing an intense, lingering heat.
