Tabasco (isolated seeds)
(The Tabasco pepper is a classic heirloom chili best known as the pepper traditionally used to make Tabasco-style hot sauce. These small, slender peppers grow upright on highly productive plants and ripen from pale yellow-green to orange and finally a bright red when fully mature.
Tabasco peppers have a sharp, clean heat with a slightly fruity flavor and exceptionally juicy flesh compared with many other hot peppers. They are excellent for homemade hot sauces, vinegar-based pepper sauces, pickling, drying, powders, and cooking.
Plants are vigorous, bushy, and capable of producing large numbers of peppers throughout the season. The colorful upright pods also make the plants attractive additions to the garden.
