Yellow Fatalii Rex is a fiery hybrid created by crossing the Yellow Fatalii with the Yellow T-Rex, combining the bright tropical flavor of the Fatalii with the rugged appearance and aggressive heat of the T-Rex. The pods ripen to a vivid yellow and can develop heavily wrinkled, twisted shapes with pointed or stinger-like ends. Flavor starts fruity, citrusy, and slightly floral before quickly giving way to an intense, long-lasting burn.

With an estimated heat range of 800,000–1,000,000 Scoville Heat Units (SHU), Fatalii Rex falls firmly into the superhot category. It is an excellent choice for extremely hot sauces, pepper powders, flakes, salsas, and other recipes where both strong flavor and serious heat are desired.

Plants are vigorous and productive when provided plenty of warmth, sunlight, and a long growing season. Because this is a hybrid variety, some variation in pod shape, size, texture, and other characteristics may occur between plants.
